Today I took a taxi down town to see if I could find any nice fabric (a new grandchild will come in December, you know!).Well, I found myself standing looking at dresses when I noticed that something was going on on both sides of the busy street. 
First I just recognised a strange smell, then I sew all the men painting the iron curtains in front of all shops in a rather nice mild turquoise colour.
I think it will look lovely ….when the shops are closed!
